According to emergency management authorities, a rapidly growing wildfire intensified as dry vegetation, unseasonably warm temperatures, and shifting wind conditions combined to create dangerous fire behavior, prompting officials to expand firefighting operations and issue evacuation notices for residents in threatened neighborhoods.
