A devastating two-vehicle collision in Hockley County has claimed the lives of a 44-year-old woman, Felicia (often reported as Felice) Flores, and a 14-year-old girl identified as Siana, leaving a third passenger critically injured and a community mourning the sudden loss of two family members.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the crash occurred around 6:12 p.m. at the intersection of FM 1585 and FM 168. Investigators reported that a pickup truck pulling a trailer failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled directly into the path of an oncoming Chevrolet Silverado driven by Flores. The Silverado struck the trailer and subsequently rolled over in the violent impact.

Authorities confirmed that Felicia Flores, 44, who was driving the Silverado, and her 14-year-old passenger, Siana, were both pronounced dead at the scene. A third passenger, 22-year-old Aliyanna Luna, sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock for emergency treatment.

Officials stated that all occupants of the Silverado were reportedly wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The driver of the other vehicle, a 31-year-old man from Seminole, was not injured. DPS investigators noted that he failed to stop at the intersection, causing the chain-reaction collision that led to the rollover.

The tragedy has deeply affected the Levelland area, where the victims were believed to be from. Friends and relatives have begun sharing tributes online, remembering Flores as a devoted mother figure and describing Siana as a bright, energetic teenager with a promising future ahead.

Emergency responders described the scene as severe, with debris scattered across the intersection and both vehicles heavily damaged. First responders worked to secure the area, assist the injured passenger, and begin preliminary crash reconstruction efforts.

The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including whether additional citations or charges will be filed. Officials have not yet released further details regarding speed, visibility, or other contributing factors.

Community members have expressed grief and shock over the loss, particularly the death of a child in a crash that investigators say was preventable. Local residents have also called for increased awareness of rural intersection safety, especially on farm-to-market roads where visibility and stop compliance remain ongoing concerns.

As the investigation continues, the names Felicia Flores and Siana are being remembered together in obituaries and social media tributes, symbolizing a shared tragedy that has left a lasting impact on their family and community.

Their deaths serve as a stark reminder of how quickly routine travel can turn fatal, and how a single moment of traffic negligence can alter multiple lives forever.
