A devastating apartment fire in Salisbury, North Carolina, has displaced dozens of residents after flames rapidly spread through a multi-unit residential building on Henderson Grove Church Road. Because of the rapidly spreading flames, additional departments from surrounding communities were called in, and the incident was upgraded to a four-alarm fire.

Officials said the fire is believed to have originated on the balcony of one apartment before extending into the attic space and roof structure, allowing it to spread quickly across the building. Firefighters worked for several hours to contain the blaze while ensuring that every resident had been safely evacuated. Authorities reported that approximately 59 residents living in 23 apartment units were displaced by the fire, making it one of the largest residential fire incidents in the Salisbury area this year.
